Overwatch 2: Blizzard Removes One More Hero Due to Bugs

Mei -overwatch 2

Mei, an Overwatch 2 hero, will be temporarily removed from the game owing to a glitch, according to Blizzard. The game's reintroduction is anticipated to coincide with the upcoming patch, which is scheduled for November 15.

In a tweet from its customer support account, Blizzard said, "We are temporarily banning Mei to resolve a fault with her Ice Wall ability that allows heroes to reach undesired regions." "We are trying to fix these problems as soon as we can and hope to bring Mei back in our next forthcoming patch, which is scheduled for November 15," the company stated.

The bug regularly allowed players to hide from opponents and score quick damage and kills by using Mei's wall to reach spots outside the confines of the action.

Just a few weeks prior, the game's heroes Bastion and Torbjörn were both expelled due to issues that were seriously impairing gameplay. One of several problems that bedevilled the game's bumpy debut was their removal, along with lengthy queue times and persistent DDoS assaults.

The Overwatch 2 team is diligently addressing character problems, but they won't be seeking to adjust any of the game's heroes for perhaps another month. Blizzard recently announced that they won't begin considering that kind of thorough balance until December.

We characterised Overwatch 2 as "a highly engaging team-based FPS, packed full of charm and passion for the universe it takes place in" in our review.
